when you download multiple files it is a good idea to use the downloadthemall plugin for firefox. it is a great download manager, and you can pause/stop/start downloads at your leisure.

    in the images below:

    1. go to the page - taj al-arus files on archive.org in this example.

    2. there are more than 20 pdfs. instead of clicking them individually, right click anywhere on the page. (see dwn-1.gif below)

    3. select Downthemall... from the menu. (dwn-2.gif)

    4. in the box (see dwn-3.gif) scroll down and click in the empty circle next to the file you wish to download. it is easy to recognize as pdfs are neatly sorted. you can also use the keyboard: move to the desired file using arrow keys and press the spacebar to mark it selected (the blank circle turns green with a checkmark). using SHIFT to select a set is also possible.

    5. select a folder in which all these files shall download.

    6. click Start!

    7. repeat as desired.
