:s2: I have a question regarding the classification of Christians and Jews. Are they to be termed kaafir or not? Also, is there any difference in the classification of the Jews and Christians during the time of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم , and the contemporary Jews and Christians (or indeed did the classification change from the early days of prophethood to the later days of prophethood as circumstances changed during the time of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم? And if they are termed as kaafirs, then is there any difference between them and other kaafirs? Many thanks for any replies I get.
