Visiting of the Souls on Thursdays

On page 6 it says:

“In Sharhus Sudoor, Shaykh Jalalud’deen Suyuti has
presented numerous Ahadith explaining most such ocassions (when the souls visit the homes), even though most (or many) of them are not free from being Da’eef (Weak narrations).” [Kashf Al Ghita pg.66]

 

please post the exact wording and page number( from Ala Hazrats's treatise)regarding above ?

 

JazakAllah Khair. Brother I cannot seem to find the narrations of souls returning to the houses in Sharhus Sudoor even though it is mentioned that it does say so in Alahazrat Radi Allahu anhu's work. Also who is the Shaykh ul Islam referred to in Return of the Souls who wrote Kashf Al Ghita? Also, the books quoted, Gharaib and Khazana, who are they by, are they Hadith collections? What is Khazaantur Riwayaat, it sounds like a book of hadith, who is it by?

Assalamu Alaykum,

I have read that the Souls visit their houses and see what the family has made for eesal e sawaab for them. What I wanted to ask was is this based on authentic narrations, could someone please provide the references and gradings Jazakallah Khair. Also my father asked me about this and I affirmed that they do, he said that this means that on Thursdays the Angels are not taking the reward and showing it to the deceased person in their graves and so are taking a break and not doing their job, how would one reply to this? Jazakumullah Khair
