Someone pointed out that imam e ahle sunnat رضى الله عنه didnt actually attribute harf and sawt

Did A'lahazrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan رضى الله عنه affirm harf wa sawt for the Quran?
More specifically:
some say that a'lahazrat رضى الله عنه has said that Allah Ta'ala's kalam is with harf and sawt unlike the creation. how do we properly understand this? is this the mu'tamad opinion of ash'ari and maturidi aqida?
