this part of verse 58:22 is that which alaHazrat derived his year of birth: These are they in whose hearts Allah has inscribed faith and helped them with a spirit from Himself this, however, is the latter part of the verse. how does one reach this level [of getting help from Allah]? the first part of the verse is the answer: You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the last Day taking as their friends those who opposed Allah and His Messenger, even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brotheren or their kinsmen. --- it's amazing how the verse alaHazrat derived 1272 from is the very same which shows his life mission: not befriending those who oppose Allah and His Messenger.
