   Are there any Arabic expressions in our scholarly tradition that describes human will as equivalent to the English expression of *free* will?

   Is the following correct:
   
   Human will should simply be referred to as will, and not *free* will. Free implies independent, and our will is created by and completely dependent on Allah.
