    Salaams,

    ***URGENT***EVENT CANCELLED****
    ***PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW****

It is with deep regret that we have to announce that today's "Imam Hussain Conference: The Sunni Identity & Recognising Deviancy From Islam" is CANCELLED due to the adverse weather conditions.

We have had to take this decision in the interests of the safety of all persons involved.

The Shayukh have been in touch and are deeply disappointed themselves. With that in mind they have committed to come back to Watford and do the event at a later date. We are indebted to them for this and are in continual need of their duas. May Allah(swt) preserve them and keep us all under their wings.

PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE.

    Wa'salaams

It is with great pleasure we announce that our visiting Scholars have agreed to hold the upcoming event this Saturday under the banner:

    IMAM HUSSAIN (ra) CONFERENCE

    The agenda is as follows:
    1. Conference Introduction by Chairman.
    2. Shaykh Monawwar Ateeq Rizvi Sahib will speak first on the topic of 'The Sunni Identity'
    3. Shaykh Asrar Rashid will speak on 'Recognising Deviation from Islam'
    4. Question & Answer session with Shaykh Asrar Rashid.
The topics of discussion will aptly be related/linked back to the overall conference theme.

Note: Shaykh Monawwar Ateeq Rizvi Sahib unfortunately has to leave promptly after his speech (due to prior arrangements) so we urge everyone to arrive for a prompt start at 6:30pm

Please attend, this is an open event for all. al-Lawh Institute is a small organisation set up in Watford to promote Sunni Aqeeda and teachings to stop our youth (and the not so young!) going astray. Our aim (we are not ulemas/scholars) is to bring only English speaking Ulema and Speakers from the UK to help our youth understand what our aqaid are. Additionally, we assist in facilitating the running of Islamic courses to help further the thirst for learning and the Sunni networking element.
