years ago i read a periodical which had a letter written by alaHazrat to a friend of his offering condolences for the bereavement of the latter's son. i was astounded at the compassion and sympathy that alaHazrat showed in this short letter. it was as if he had taken away a lot of the grief with his words of comfort. he was a scholar with impeccable akhlaq and the purest of hearts. i feel this side of alaHazrat - the sufi - needs to be discussed. --- it will be near enough impossible for me to find this periodical but if anyone knows of any such letters; it will be useful to share.
