بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم I onced had the privalage to travel with a shaykh (my brother was due to take then but something come up so i toom them) to a mawlid gathering. On the way there I asked about signs of qiyama as you do. he said that the big signs eveyone knew about they were well documented in the books of scholars, but that the authorized shuyukh looked at other hadeeth so as to assess they time and the condition, so asked him to explain by and example he quoted the following hadeeth to me. الكتب » صحيح البخاري » كتاب البيوع » باب من لم يبال من حيث كسب المال باب من لم يبال من حيث كسب المال 1954 عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال يأتي على الناس زمان لا يبالي المرء ما أخذ منه أمن الحلال أم من الحرام
source has anyone come across this? cause if dajjal is to come after Imam al-Mahdi (raDiAllahuanhu) then how can he pretend to be a good leader?

this is just too good. it must be compiled into book form - and people should make their children memorise it's summary - for no one knows when the things will gather speed and before we know we'll already be in the thick of it all. Shaykh Asrar must've put in tremendous efforts and it is evident that Allah(azzawajal) has blessed him with superior reasoning skills. he's put everything into perspective - I used to think that dajjal will appear before Imam Mahdi (radhiAllahuanhu). personally, I think this event is historical in that for the first time such a comprehensive and authentic study of the end of times has been made available to those who can understand the english language - and there are no collateral damages - whims, predictions and canvassing for any aspirer to mahdi-hood. jazakAllahu khayran to everyone who helped in making this event happen.
