this geezer sounds well dodgy! the sunni view is that gog and magog are a race of giants who will appear on the earth at the end of times during isa :as:'s rule, and will devour anything and everything in their path. no one will be able to fight them. so Allah will order Hazrat Isa:as: to take the Muslims with him to a mountain and then He will send down a disease in the armpits of Gog and Magog which will kill them. Then a lengthy rain will clear away the Earth of their carcasses. They will have massive ears which they will use to cover themselves up with when sleeping! They are currently behind the wall which Zulqarnayn (Alexander as traditionally understood) built and are licking it everyday until it nearly is all dissolved and they say, 'we will finish it tomorrow'. because they forget to say 'insha Allah' the wall is made to grow back again. When it is their time to appear on earth they will remember to say insha Allah! It is in a hadith sharif that the ratio of Gog and Magog to other humans is 999:1 (if i recall correctly may Allah forgive me)! Some people have identified them as being Tartars. Allah and His Messenger know best.
