it has been copied down in hanafi works as: كل لهو المسلم حرام إلا ثلاثة ملاعبته أهله وتأديبه لفرسه ومناضلته بقوسه in durr al-mukhtar, radd al-muhtar, and i suppose alahazrat just cited from there. even though the narrated hadith mentions "batil" instead of "haram" just as alahazrat has himself mentioned in malfuzat: ==== the isnad of the hadith has been mentioned in takhrij of hidayah (naSb al-ra'yah / vol.4 p 273, #7470) and jalal al-suyuti in his al-durr al-manthur, under aayah 60 of surah al-anfal (the copy i have: vol.7 p 159) mentions it as a marfuu narration. wAllahu a'alam.
In Ahkam e Shariat, question 13, relating to kite flying, Alahazrat quotes a hadith which states: "Every lahw of the Muslim is Haram, except for three" I cannot locate this hadith, could any of the learned scholars and brothers on this site direct me as to where I may find this hadith? جزاك الله خيرا
