Hadith The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “Fast the Day of `Ashura’ and be different from the Jews by fasting a day before it or a day after it.” [Ahmad] Ashura this year falls on Saturday 19 Jan 08 insha Allah, although some say that it is tomorrow 18 Jan 08.
