Hashmi Miyan Scandal

I personally disassociate myself from Syed Muhammad Hashmi Miya (al maruf "Ghazi e Millat") and have disassociated myself for a while. He is not a proper pir and does not follow shari'at.

The same goes with Noorani Miyan (al ma'ruf "Taj ul Ulama") and much of whole current silsilah of Ashrafis.

However, it is curious how this specific sayyid sahib (Hashmi Miya) with many problematic comments has been made the janashin of Huzur Muhaddith e A'azam e Hind Kicchochawi رحمة الله عليه

 

fair point and easily verifiable for those in uk. wonder why he didn't put it up on his telegram.

if no one in india is aware of this and the folks alleging the accusations don't have any support from back home, they're gonna have a very tough time getting people in india to believe this and spread word to people to distance themselves from the perpetrator, unless some victim comes forward and others too come forward as has happened with the whole metoo thing!

shaykh asrars students, fans and friends are a members of this forum if a false attribution to him was made I am sure a response would be promptly made.

 

The victim resides in UK and is close affiliation with the Ashrafi khulafah Banares and Basharat. Like others who have had close relationships, some being for over 30 years have also been in denial however the evidence is overwhelming. Criminal charges will be pressed if they step in the UK which resulted in the upcoming tour being cancelled.

a lesson for all in these testing times you should never bring a pir into your house. Keep the relationship to the masjid.

apparently news of it made its way all the way to the uk... but suddenly all the awam in india developed so much hikmah to not release it on youtube? hashmi miyan has no more enemies left in india - opposition peerkhanas, wahabis, devbandis, hindus (he has scoffed at yogi adityanath on some occasions), sikhs, christians, no one? no one in india issued a notice of bara'ah from him, but Asrar Rashid supposedly felt the need to? (assuming it's the uk shaykh we all know); and any background info on that Banaras and Basharat babu's?

The scandal involves female victim who was used sexually for over a decade, to maintain her privacy and to protect her the finer details are not to come into the public domain.

we seek refuge with Allah and pray for those affiliated with such groups that Allah makes it easy for them.

 

many of them do not even like to be called barelwis. but "baraylwis" is a convenient term to scapegoat.

from deobandis, salafis, tafzilis, minhajis, and a whole lot of others - they use "barelvi" as a term to bash. if nouman khan, or some deobandi mulla was caught in a similar scandal - it would be the individual's failing. but if a similar thing happened to those who are broadly considered 'barelvis' - it is the maslak and if possible, they would even pin it on alahazrat as if he permitted this, al-iyadhu billah.

incidentally, it is those people who have in the past ranted and raved against alahazrat who have faced public humiliation. nas'alu Allah al-aafiyah.

call me narrow minded, but i tend to see this from the angle of "one who bears enmity with My friend..."

if you’re referring to this this thread only, then ok, I see what you’re implying. Even then I disagree with the characterization ( ie “in shambles”).

but if you’re collectively referring to both this and the other scandal, then you’re wrong. That other individual is definitively not Barelwi nor does he represent Barelwis and or Maslak e Ala Hazrat. And neither does he himself consider his own self a Barelwi. He in fact has previously mocked Barelwis. So I wouldn’t place him in the same category as the honored Barelwis. It’s disrespectful to the Maslak and simply not true.

 

Yes, but is that letter even real? One of the signatories is Asrar Rashid. He mentioned nothing of the sort on his telegram, and anyone can easily aks him, assuming this is the UK Asrar Rashid we all know.

And who are these Basharat and Banaras brothers, they have eerily similar signatures that look like a school boy's faking of daddy's signature.
