Thank you. That clears it. What is the actual logic behind hamzatul wasl and qati. How can you identify one or the other (without the marking in the Quran)
The tanween follows a clear hamza (hamza qat’i, not hamza wasl). So you read with Izhaar in Hafs: Khusrin illa. Clear tanween, clear Hamza. In Warsh you can read Khusrinilla.
If you want to recite the 2nd and 3rd verse of Surah Asr, is it pronounced: khusrin illallazeena or khusri nillallazeena I've heard the first sentence but not sure what the actual rule is here.
