The king of Bareilly praises Sayyiduna Uthman رضي الله عنه : Durr e manthūr Quran ki silk e bahi Zawj e do nur e iffat pe lakhon salam Ya'ani Uthman sahib e qamīs e huda Hulla pawsh e shahadat pe lakhon salam The pearls of the Quran, gathered, for the better; Endless salutations upon the husband of the two purified lights That is, Uthman, possessor of the shirt* of guidance; Endless salutations upon the one who wore* martyrdom * RasulAllah ﷺ has foretold: Uthman, you will be granted the shirt of guidance (khilafah).
