well it is an oversight. we could use another musnad instead of this. maybe i will fix it by replacing it with another musnad. kattani mentions nearly 82 musnads - i also scoured dozens of bibliographies - and somewhere this slipped and i didn't pay attention. even albani has said that it is full of abatil and manakir. --- nearly every book in the list - i have opened, checked read about authors - got their dates of demise from works like siyar etc. this is a shortlist from nearly 190 books - and i dropped about 25-30 works. sub'HanAllah.

There are handful of (chemistry) periodic table mobile apps (1, 2) which claim to improve engagement. Similarly, few html/javascript css based ones (here, here, here, here) ----- edit: posted before seeing aH's response
the text version is meant for this. so hyperlinking becomes easy. most certainly. and we will have hyperlinks there. in sha'Allah. also being considered.
I am not particularly tech savvy, but I think that hyperlinks will enhance the navigation ease and user-friendliness of the latest release. That is, click on each element links to the summary information (that is presently hosted in the Companion Guide). aH, do you plan to publish an html version on webpage? pdf too has limited hyperlink features, but html format would be better. May be that will also afford the ability to add additional level of details (than would be possible to capture in pdf). Probably a mobile app version may be the next step. The existing pdf version will be hard to view on mobile, but content can be reconfigured in the form of a mobile app for easier readability and interactivity.
masha Allah tabarak Allah. may Allah reward Abu Hasan and the brothers who helped him. sincere apologies to brother @abu Hasan and other brothers and sisters, i don't mean to make a chaand pe daagh here and pollute this thread with mention of heretics, but it needs to be said this is the very reason shayateen like zameel are so irked by Abu Hasan and why that fellow is so jealous of him. from experience, i assure you wahabis and devbandis will also try to come up with their own plagiarized and/or supposedly improvised copies of the same, or outright broad daylight thefts; just as they have stolen and/or tweaked Ala Hazrat's daleels and arguments when refuting each other few people know that devbandis routinely steal from Ala Hazrat's works to refute rawafid or qadianis or maududi; madkhalis have stolen from Ala Hazrat's daleels against wahabis overall as khawarij; and have applied them on qutubis as khawarij anyway, if they are guided to Sunniyat by the aid of it, alhamdulillah
you can take the pdf to any printer in your locality and ask them to print on A1 size. the text versions will easily scale to A0 without any distortion (as it is text - and fonts are vectors); only that shadows will be missing.
i first got the idea in 2012 or 2013 - i don't remember - whenever the first "periodic table of typefaces" was released. i started compiling the list for the table envisaged. so my first list was made in 2013. then i got busy with other things until a year later i updated it. but the 2014 v5 update was infused with entries from bustan.(see below) sometime around this time i decided that instead of *my* list, i should simply follow a list made by a scholar. bustanu'l muhaddithin is a well known work, and i made its list soon thereafter. ==== and then i began listing down mustatrafah: === these would be an hour to four-five hour sittings. initially, i was selecting - and then thought of compiling the whole thing. so the entire mustatrafah in tabular form (also in excel sheet) will be released soon. in sha'Allah.

Infographic Download Here Companion Guide Download Here This one-of-a-kind visual created by Mawlana Abu Hasan, ingeniously adapts the familiar structure of the Periodic Table of Elements to categorise and convey information regarding books of Hadith. This brilliant guide provides the names of various Hadith books, their classification (based on attributes like authenticity, genre, and juridical relevance) and additional author information, all amazingly concentrated into one table. While a conventional periodic table organizes elements by physical properties, this Hadith table brings a rich array of works, including some obscure ones, into an easily navigable format. Books and collections of hadith have been placed in a specific order based on their attributes. Not only does the table classify a large selection of hadith works - some rarely mentioned even is seminaries - it also arranges them diligently based on their authenticity, genre and juridical significance. This means that a book's position alone reveals a lot of contextual information about it along with the period of the muhaddith. Although the table doesn't have the mathematical exactness of its elemental counterpart, it offers potential for uncovering patterns and new layers in Hadith scholarship. This novel approach serves as a valuable tool for exploring Hadith literature in a highly engaging manner. It is meant to be a visual aid for students and scholars to quickly identify texts relevant to specific subjects or genres. A helpful legend is included at the bottom of the table to help first-time readers make sense of the various symbols, labels and numbers. A more detailed companion guide has also been published separately to facilitate efficient use of the table. This guide includes a tabulated list of all the books with their authors’ full-names, brief definitions of the 51 different categories of Hadith mentioned in the table and two consolidated lists of Hadith works based on anthologies - totaling nearly 200 names - 170 with overlaps excluded. In sum, this Periodic Table of Hadith is an innovative and welcome contribution by Mawlana Abu Hasan to Islamic educational material, and paves the way for new pedagogical approaches in Islamic studies.
