Towards the end of the video, he mentions jo log Nabi sal Allahu 3alaihi wa sallam ki shaan mein takhfeef ka soch rahe hain...
For a guy who's irked by supposedly false/incoherent accusations and/or fatawa that he's set out to refute, he sure is very generous with straw men and red herrings!
between 48:00 until the end, he employs sleight of hand - once again beating the dead horse that the other side has done GUSTAKHI of Sayyidah and that they are irked by her radi Allahu 3anha's honorable mention and he's standing guard against this GUSTAKHI. he should be ashamed of himself for using such underhanded tactics. he's employing classic deobandi tactics.
first prove gustakhi. he has done nothing about proving gustakhi yet, other than utter gaalis.
and i don't know/remember what i missed in this year long scuffle but why is he conflating Bareilly fatwa against himself with the Bareilly-Ashrafi-Misbahi-Mubarakpur headaches? what's the point mixing all that up here unless there was a joint Bareilly-Mubarakpur statement or fatwa against him? it seems his aim is just to spread FUD and hurt the Ahlus Sunnah as much as possible and spread his pseudo-rafziyat
no one should be blackmailed by his high and mighty claims that he's going to prove his point from the works of Ala Hazrat or other Sunni shuyukh. that's his way of attempting to be ismail dehlvi 2.0
but he's a smart-peer
One thing Shah sahib might be forgetting: he too passed fatwas of kufr.
E.g. whoever says Fatimah رضي اللہ عنھا did khata has committed kufr.
That was in his speech at Data darbar.
i ask irfan mashadi why he didn't use
*sharh fiqh al-akbar
* sharh al-mawaqif
* sharh al-maqasid
* sharh al-aqa`id
* hashiya nibras
why did he run to maktubat imam rabbani quddisa sirruhu? and even that, he quoted 3-4 lines decontextualized. does he not remember the usul mentioned in jaa' al-haq that there is no taqlid in aqida?
This jawab is totally behooda. i was telling a mawlana friend of mine `irfan is starting to sound like qasim nanotvi when he discusses juzwi fazilat for ghayr anbiya (see the portion where he misquotes maktubat)
Qasim Nanotvi said: "Prophets are superior to their followers only in knowledge, but in good deeds, followers sometimes seem equal and occasionally even become superior to them."
Ref: Qasim Nanotvi, Book 'Tahzeerannas, page 5, published in Maktaba Fayz Nazd Jami Masjid, Deoband and also published from Kutub Khana Qasimi, Deoband publication.
Just the other 20 left and just having a brief perusal of the defense, I think Mufti Zahid Jalali might pick some holes in it.
It's easy to release videos but what would be more beneficial is actually sitting with the ulema and clarifying.
He answers point 21
