Salam Alaikum I was thinking about the Milad Sharif today, and a question occurred in my mind. Officially speaking, when does the jahiliyyah period end? At the a3lane-e-nabuwwat at the blessed age of 40? Or as soon as the Prophet, 3alaihis salam, blessed this world with his presence, that is at his blessed birth? I was just thinking to myself, 'the period from the Mawlid until the age of 40 before the a3lan-e-nabuwwat, would it be right technically from an adab pov, to call it jahiliyyah, as eventhough the nabuwwat is not announced, his presence has already graced the world' and the question occurred to me. Maybe it's a dumb question for others, but I don't know the answer, or I don't know if I might have known in the past but I don't have a clue right now. Any takers?
