well that's too literal. it implies physical presence whereas the Urdu shiy'r is using it in a metaphorical sense - in the sense of "support", "authority", "refuge". wa Allahu a'alam
yes, literally not. But I think that mawlana (May Allah ta'ala elevate his ranks) meant to use "you are mine" in its metaphorical sense - albeit, its still not close enough. --- "Tum ho" "you are with me" or "in your presence" or "under your authority", "under your vigilance" disclaimer: I am not using these words for the Prophet (peace be upon him) - I am just conveying the general sense in which the words "tum ho" are used in those couplets. We must use unambiguous words when referring to the Prophet (peace be upon him) - and when in doubt, stay quiet. I am not sure if the last two phrases are suitable. Allah knows best.
