Wa 'alaykum us salaam The Karaamat of the Awliya (Saints) are relative to their environment, situation and challenges that they encounter. I will see if I can find a reference but Imam Sahnoon Maliki reminds us the miracles are like salt on a dish of food therefore do not amount to capturing or reflecting the total substance of any Wali. I will try and look up the ‘incident’ you queried and post a reply on the forum. In the meantime I will draw your attention to the following miracles: 1. To change the skyline of an entire city in Kashmir to become synonymous with Mosques and be labelled as Madeenatul Masssajid as well as their work has impacted every city, town village in Kashmir and far wide as Pakistan 2. Mufti Muhammad Ameen and Ustadh Abdul Aziz and their offspring are living karaamaats of the Janaab (ra) as models and ideals of tarbiyyah 3. To transform ordinary people in awliya it is mentioned that a majzoob saw one of Janaab (ra) mureeds and exclaimed 'you Pir is the one who transforms illiterate people into Awliyaa/Wali’. 4. Thousands of Huffaz, men and women without discrimination, produced from their quiet spiritual educational network transforming villages, cites and families nationwide as well as sending 'Ulama and Huffaz to many of the cities habited by Muslims. 5. Over 1200 Masaajid built with their direct support with over 300 in their direct control but not only built but congregations have been established and many have hifz and maktab classes. 6. Devotees who gave bayya'ah to them established eight prayers daily. 7. Never to become sahib e nisaab, qualify to pay Zakat, meaning they lived life on the poverty line despite having thousands of devotees 8. Never letting any mureed feel that to be near them will disadvantage him/her financial ie a man presented one laakh rupees (many years ago when 100,000 rupees were worth much more than today) and the Shaykh declined. Therefore the man with his pride dented exclaimed, paraphrasing, you don't find mureeds like me who give laakh(s) and Janaab responded you don't find many people like me who turn down laakhs!!. 9. If a mureed wished to travel to meet with them the guidance was if your daily Salah is going to suffer travelling to me, then do muraaqaba of tasawware Shaykh or write a letter and pray for me from your abode but don’t travel if its going to compromise your Salah in anyway. 10. Janaab (ra) designed all their Mosques and was responsible for the engineering decisions involved in many of the complex structures without graduating in modern scientific or engineering disciplines. 11. Achieved International recognition and acceptance without any marketing or PR campaign 12. Held events with thousands attending, which do not have charismatic and colourful speakers, without advertising on posters or making mass public announcements I hope these give a better and much truer representation of the Great Saint and Friend of Allah from our times. Asalmu alaykum I hope someone on this forum will be able to help me out inshallah. Does anyone know any karamat of qazi sadiq sahib (may ALLAH give him high maqam in jannah) i have heard that once some police officers wanted to know where they get all there money from to build all the masajids. it is said that hazrat sahib pick up his masala and from underneath here steeams of gold and milk was pouring out. can someone confirm this for me please and also any more karamahs would be great. jazakallah wasalam
