The opinion is related by Imam at-Tabari and it seems that their bodies were exhumed and later buried in Jerusalem by Prophet Nuh (alayhissalam) during the flood.
do you mean carried them after their demise? i read that adam 'ala nabiyyina wa 'alaihis salatu wassalam was alive and went in the ark.
In Tarikh Ibn Kathir, many opinions of ulema are given regarding the resting place of Prophet Adam. One of them is that Sayyidina Nuh (alayhissalam) carried Prophet Adam and Hawa in the ark and had them buried in Jerusalem.
