http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19268563 Quite an interesting piece with many insights for Muslims on how and why Islam is the only solution to many "puzzles" that these jahils struggle with. Wide-eyed uncle toms who are fascinated by any and everything the enlightened west spits out, should note some of the points in this and think deeply about how Islam is the only truth and why 100% adherence to its laws is the only solution, EVEN in this enlightened 21st century. What they're really saying is that man-made laws and institutions are bound to collapse no matter how "rational" or high and mighty they may seem to be. These people never read the works of a Muslim scholar who is a champion of kalam, and indeed Ala Hazrat too is one of them. Note the word "creed" in there. The "rationalism" and "reason" they refer to is basically mankind's personal bias and devising its own "creed" based on this bias to knowingly/unknowingly suit some agenda or appease certain groups, or just comfort personal egos. This religion-like non-religious creed is also the same problem modern "Muslim preachers and scholars" suffer from, with/without realizing it. (dajjals like tahir etc.) Surah 3asr comes to mind.
