afaik, even wahabis and devbandis say the same thing. jazak Allah for reminding us. this used to be well known when we were kids. in fact it was a key point of distinction between Sunnis and rawafid, that we used to say we're not sure if Najaf is the actual mazar of Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu 3anhu lately enough Sunnis have been doing ziyarah of Najaf that it has slipped many (Sunni) minds in current times
Asalam Alaikum Shaykh this is very interesting. Do you by any chance have the vol and page number on hand jazakallah khair
what is amusing is that it is not even confirmed that mawla ali's (raDi'Allahu anhu) mazaar is in najaf! historians from the early centuries say that the grave in najaf is probably that of hazrat mughirah ibn shu'bah (another sahabi) raDi'Allahu anhu. and it is well known that the blessed grave of mawla ali was hidden. in khatib's 'tarikh baghdad' and ibn asakir quoting him in tarikh dimashq that mawla hasan raDi'Allahu anhu shifted the blessed body of mawla ali from kufa to madinah and interred him next to the grave of sayyidah fatimah raDiAllahu anha.
alhamdulillah, some good statements in there squarely telling this rafizi to re-enter Islam. wish such clear statements could be issued against iran shah and tanchbatwi paqs too!
