Yes and Owais Qadri too. I went to all the mehfils when he came in Milaad Shariff and then a few months later. I also went to Holland with him too. Also spent time with him last week... and I can tell you he did not get paid £1000 and neither did he demand that. As a matter of fact he usually doesnt even know where the mehfil will be till the night before when he asks where we going tomorrow
Not true. Saying that I know at some programs some of the guys have agreed before hand they would give him such amounts (this is without his knowledge). This does not mean he charges that much. Ive known him to go to London and get £250 with no money to the driver for fuel so to be honest its no wonder some discuss a price before hand. Cant remember might even have been Hafiz Saab himself who mentioned it or maybe it was Owais Qadri that mentioned it either way it was someone close to him
Comments about Shahbaz Freedi reminded me of a Milad Paak video from this April. During a portion of the speech the speaker spoke about Hazrat Siddique e Akbar (RA). Shahbaz Freedi's response/reactions during the speech are not what one would expect from a shia. Listen from 11:45 onwards:

Never asked him where he studied. A bit like Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa I know he was very close to finishing off his Alim course but no idea where he's been studying. Many similar rumours to what exactly?
What I mean is the a lot of brothers you mentioned dont even know him yet make a huge judgements by saying he's not what you think he is... Many people dont even know not only is he a naat khawan but he is also an alim
Ala Hazrat's fatwa in volume 23: مسئلہ ۴۰۲ تا ۴۰۳ : ازشہرمحلہ ذخیرہ مسئولہ منشی شوکت علی صاحب محررچونگی ۸محرم الحرام ۱۳۳۹ھ (۱) کیاحکم ہے اہل شریعت کا اس مسئلہ میں کہ رافضیوں کی مجلس میں مسلمانوں کاجانا اور مرثیہ سننا، ان کی نیاز کی چیز کالیناخصوصاً آٹھویں محرم کو جبکہ ان کے یہاں حاضری ہوتی ہے کھانا جائزہے یانہیں؟ (۲) محرم میں بعض مسلمان ہرےکپڑے پہنتے ہیں اور سیاہ کپڑوں کا کیاحکم ہے؟ الجواب (۱) جانا اورمرثیہ سننا حرام ہے ان کی نیاز کی چیزنہ لی جائے، ان کی نیاز نیازنہیں، اور وہ غالباً نجاست سے خالی نہیں ہوتی، کم ازکم ان کے ناپاک قلتین کاپانی ضرور ہوتا ہے، اور وہ حاضری سخت ملعون ہے اور اس میں شرکت موجب لعنت۔ (۲) محرم میں سبز اور سیاہ کپڑے علامت سوگ ہیں اور سوگ حرام ہے خصوصاً سیاہ کاشعاررافضیاں لیام ہے۔ واﷲ تعالٰی اعلم
رد المحتار مَسَائِلُ شَتَّى ( قَوْلُهُ وَنُدِبَ لُبْسُ السَّوَادِ ) لِأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا ذَكَرَ فِي السِّيَرِ الْكَبِيرِ فِي بَابِ الْغَنَائِمِ حَدِيثًا يَدُلُّ عَلَى أَنَّ لُبْسَ السَّوَادِ مُسْتَحَبٌّ وَأَنَّ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ اللَّفَّ لِعِمَامَتِهِ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَنْفُضَهَا كَوْرًا كَوْرًا ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ رَفْعِهَا عَنْ الرَّأْسِ ، وَإِلْقَائِهَا فِي الْأَرْضِ دَفْعَةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَّ الْمُسْتَحَبَّ إرْسَالُ ذَنَبِ الْعِمَامَةِ بَيْنَ الْكَتِفَيْنِ وَتَمَامُهُ فِي الزَّيْلَعِيِّ another place in the same chapter it says: وَنُدِبَ لُبْسُ السَّوَادِ وَإِرْسَالُ ذَنَبِ الْعِمَامَةِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ إلَى وَسَطِ الظَّهْرِ likewise, it says in Alamgiri too, specifically on 3imama's ( الْبَابُ التَّاسِعُ فِي اللُّبْسِ مَا يَكْرَهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ، وَمَا لَا يُكْرَهُ ) نُدِبَ لُبْسِ السَّوَادِ وَإِرْسَالُ ذَنَبِ الْعِمَامَةِ بَيْنَ الْكَتِفَيْنِ إلَى وَسَطِ الظَّهْرِ ، كَذَا فِي الْكَنْزِ and also in the miscellany مَسَائِلُ شَتَّى وَنُدِبَ لُبْسُ السَّوَادِ وَإِرْسَالُ ذَنَبِ الْعِمَامَةِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ إلَى وَسَطِ الظَّهْرِ ، وَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ اللَّفَّ لِعِمَامَتِهِ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَنْقُضَهَا كَوْرًا كَوْرًا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ رَفْعِهَا عَنْ الرَّأْسِ وَإِلْقَائِهَا فِي الْأَرْضِ دَفْعَةً وَاحِدَةً someone knowledgeable can comment if these sections are specifically on 3imama's or overall general clothing. abu Hasan, Aqib Qadri, sunnistudent...? ------- plus what about considering taghayyure-e-zaman, when in these times the wearers of black robes are almost instantaneously recognized as rafidis?
He's a lot more than we think he is. The brothers have probably never sat with him so how they would know is bewildering
afaik, Ala Hazrat's fatwa is that it is haram to wear black clothes during the first 10 days of Muharram to avoid resemblance to rafidis
black clothes are definitely, NOT RECOMMENDED, especially if people tend to think you are a Shia, or especially during Muharram.
