It is not evil, it is a valid book of Amliyat and even the Jannati Zewar which DI translated mentions some amals written by Sheikh Ahmed Al Buni(rahimahullah). However, as غلام رسول mentioned, one needs prior authorization and Ijazat from a true sheikh in order to fully benefit from it. As well as an authentic copy of the work.
Which sunni scholars endorse it though? Does Ala Hazrat have any opinions about it or other accepted scholars. Are the taweezat innit it accepted? You forgot brother AbdulQadir's main question.
Shams ul Ma’arif of Imam Al Buni رحمة اللہ تعالی علیہ is a book for ‘Amileen who already have the basic knowledge of ilm ul abjad, ilm ul a’daad, ilm ul jafr, ilm ul nuqoosh etc, and have received ijazat for the amliyaat contained therein. For those who don’t, reading the book will not be of any real benefit. They should instead focus on the awrad of their silsila contained in the Shajra Sharif, and those awrad they have received directly from their Shaykh. Murids of Silsila e Razvia should recite the awrad in Shajra e Razvia daily, as well as Al Wazifa tul Karima of Ala Hazrat. Those who wish to increase their awrad can follow the ma’moolat outlined by Shah Abu’l Hussain Ahmad Noori علیہ الرحمة in Siraj ul Awarif and Shah Aale Ahmad Acche Miyan علیہ الرحمة in Adab us Salikeen.
bump... if anyone has any info on this book and which Sunni scholars endorse it, plz share. Ala Hazrat's opinions/comments on it? a brother asked me abt this and i don't have knowledge to comment on it.
If it's 'Shams ul-Ma'arif' by Ahmad Ibn Ali al-Buni (he has 2, sughra and kubra), then you can download it from kitabklasik.net, click on "ruhaaniyat" in the categories section, second page. I would have posted it but cant do so from the tablet
does anyone know about this Arabic book? apparently it's about tawiz prescriptions and 3amaliyat. is it reliable or not? (wahabis say no, nazimites say yes, based on some googling and wiki-ing) where can it be downloaded? any other info on books in Arabic on 3amaliyat and tawiz's using abjad methodology - containing both daleels as well as prescriptions?
