Shaykh Yaqoubi on Fanatic and Ignorant Groupie Murids

There are bad apples everywhere.

The context is that the Shaykh was talking of the fitna that took place amongst the Sahabah.

 

i'm glad that Wadood has stated 'so called mureeds and followers'.

 

such as so called mureeds and followers of Mufti Akhtar RiDa HafidhuAllah who regularly target masses of other Sunnis and excommunicate them from Ahl alSunnah for allowing pictures and a tv channel

 

Very good message. Some murids act like gangsters in that if you don't say that their pir or shaykh is the Ghaus/Mujaddid then you aren't a proper sunni - and these pirs/shaykhs don't let their followers go to any other Shaykh

 

I don't think that ANY good murid of ANY shaykh will take offense to the above.
