Shaykh Yaqoubi's Khalifa supports Kadhabiyya

Here you are sending la'n upon scholars but in your last post you have completely changed your tone. What is the foundation of your cursing Shaykh Faisal (and yes your words inferred la’n upon him also)? If you follow the way of Sayyidi Imam Ahmad Rida Khan then read Fatawa Ridawiyyaa, Volume 10, Pages 193-194 and you will learn that it is not permissible in the Shari'ah to attribute even fisq let alone bid'ah and kufr to a Muslim without investigation. So what investigation have you conducted into Shaykh Faisal's affairs with these people? Is merely praising a deviant a sign of misguidance and deviancy? Could it not be that the Shaykh is unaware of their deviancy?

Whatever your manhaj is (and it doesn't seem to be the Noble Manhaj of Imam Ahmad Rida Khan) you should be consistent in it: Shaykh 'Alawi al-Maliki makes tarahhum upon ibn Abd al Wahhab in his famous work Mafahimu Yajibu an Tusahhaha.

In addition, Shaykh Muhammad Zahid al-Kawthari, in his work Maqalat al-Kawthari, refers to Ashraf Ali al-Tahanwi as al-‘Allama al-Awhad, Shaykh al-Mashaykh, al-Muhaddith al-Kabeer and as Hakim al-Ummah. He also calls him the author of numerous works, which reach about 500 in number. Imam al-Kawthari then goes onto praise al-Tahanwi’s works ‘Ihya al-Sunan’ and ‘Jami’ al-Athar, ’(pg. 68 of the Cairo edition). He also praises Shabir Ahmad 'Uthmani (one of the main students of al-Tahanwi) and refers to Dar al-Ulum Deoband as the al-Azhar of the Indian subcontinent, (pgs. 74, 75).
Furthermore, Peer Mahr Ali Shah says regarding Ismail Ali Dehlawi: ‘Shakkar Allahu sa’yahu’ ‘May Allah Reward his efforts.’ (Malfoozat Mahria).
There are many more quotes which can be presented but I’m sure you will understand the purpose of this brief post; Sunni ‘Ulama have praised innovators but for many reasons such as political reasons which determine their safety, and this is allowed in the Shari’a. Others have praised them due to being unaware of the deviancy of those whom they praise: this appears to be the case of al-Kawthari. Nonetheless, we have a good opinion of these scholars and justify their words so why have a double standard when it comes to other scholars such as Shaykh Faisal?
If you intend on maligning Shaykh Faisal then consistency would be that you curse al-Kawthari and al-Maliki also.


It is clearer than the morning sun that you intend on causing fitnah amongst Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah.
Side note: Islamic Republic of Iran? Are you joking? The country is run by Ithna Ashari Shi’a who are deemed disbelievers umuman (al-Fatawa al- Ridawiyya al-Sharif). Hardly an Islamic Republic...

We must make efforts to tell Shaykh Faisal Abd alRazzaq, that faraz has non-Sunni 'Aqida. He believes in contingent impossibility of attributing lying to Allah ta'ala.

Shaykh Faisal Abd alRazzaq is Sunni. In Sunni 'Aqida we reject Imkan al-Kadhib, and we reject the support of deobandi wahabis and their supporters.

Shaykh Faisal Abd alRazzaq should be instead correcting the bad 'Aqida. He should instead be condemning RIS and the non-Sunnah activities over there. RIS is not a neutral function. The responsibility falls on our shoulders, the Sunnis. It is we who should clearly inform our scholars.

It hurts greatly to see Habib 'Umar say 'al siraj al muneer' for a deviant place. So many innocent Sunnis will now be fooled into joining these people who promote bad 'aqida.

It is our responsibility, us who understand and know, to inform those who dont know.

It is great injustice by all of us collectively, generally speaking, when a Sunni 'Alim supports knowingly or unknowingly people who promote the wrong 'Aqida or those who insult the Prophet salAllahu 'alaihi wa alihi wa sallam.

All i'm saying is that Wadood is attacking scholars for stupid reasons, like attending events where there is no strick segregation and there are deviant speakers. Then he compares these scholars to Shaykh Yaqoubi, who he claims hasn't and wouldn't attend such events.

But didn't Shaykh Yaqoubi attend the GPU event, which in terms of segregation and speakers, is far 'worse' than RIS and Wembley mawlids? And Shaykh Yaqoubi defended his attendance at this conference, in the IslamiQA Q&A which appeared on Islam Channel (not exactly a sunni channel either).

Hence, Wadood needs to apply the same standards to all ulema before he attacks them.

You are talking about RIS and segregation - even salafis were standing outside GPU boycotting the event and discouraging others from walking in due to the 'deviance' of speakers and free-mixing of genders.

You cannot attack Habib 'Ali and several other scholars for attending these conferences and then not saying anything about the above. It shows your bias against certain scholars and that your arguments are just a smokescreen for some other agenda. Once again, fear Allah.

In this coming 2011 RIS function, the father of all "Muslim" perennialism, iranian Hossein Nasr, is invited. His picture is below Shaykh Yaqoubi, in the featured speakers section, and he is one of the prime guests of hanson. Hossein Nasr claims to be a shadhili shaykh, and is also a shiite.

SAcred Knowledge made a public announcement saying the Shaykh won't attend UMC. They haven't done that for RIS.

If brothers and sisters in the UK remember, the sulha kulli UMC advertised throughout the UK, about Sayyiduna Abul Huda attending their event in July this year. They even put pictures of him all over their banners and pamphlets.

But, alHamduliLAllah, Sayyidi Abul Huda did not attend that event and neither hanson's RIS.
