hypothetically, a woman (suppose slavery existed, a slavegirl: ) can give birth to the child of her master (sperm donor) and mistress (egg donor); in which case, she gives birth to her master or mistress. surrogate motherhood, in brief. Allah ta'ala knows best. [also amah - need not be a slavegirl per se; it could refer to a woman just as abd does to a man.]
As Salamu 'Alaykum, Might be lost on me but how does this relate to the ĥadīth? Particularly how is it that the grandmother is a slave and the daughter/granddaughter (?) a mistress?
