Getting involved in politics is fine but saying that everyone besides me is a crook and shouldn't contest elections is inviting trouble especially in the democratic system currently in place in Pakistan. You can't just disband political parties/candidates that have been in place for 40 years otherwise they would be anarchy. TuQ is using Islam when it suits him but wants to establish a secular/liberal type democracy based on Western models which simply does not work in Islamic Law. Either he uses Islam and advocates an Islamic model of Governance or stand for elections under the present system, win and then try and change the system...........but he has already tried that and failed and being aware of that wants to do something where he only can win. And the best way to do that as he well knows is say everyone is unworthy and a crook and say the forthcoming elections will lead to more corruption and what he says should be done!! Its what dictators do, not democrats and he won't get anywhere except wasting money!

call me mad, but i have long been suspicious that the western powers are now not just putting all their puppet eggs in the wahabi basket, but also equally investing in shias, although only covertly! that video above sounds like tahir is there to serve some sort of a bizarre western backed pro-iranian agenda. perhaps they want pakistan to also be the new proxy of iran, just like how iraq is. personally, i believe all the western anti-iran-ism is just a sham!
