many of these can be found on archive.org - try a search such as this and this. (about 11 books on the latter page). this must be taught by our ulama for an intro to other religions and ALSO how OUR religion is seen by others. obviously, we don't learn our religion by this book. that is our kalam department. wa lillahi'l Hamd
you may disagree with many of these concepts but it is necessary to teach them and refute them if you wish.
other books and encyclopedias from DK are also good towards making a non-specialist, but a well-informed scholar:
instead of outdated philosophy books and other ma'aqulat taught in dars-nizami, which are not relevant to our time, madrasas should teach books like these to bring the madrasa graduates up to speed, so they understand how the world works in our age. of course, these are books by non-muslims, so the teacher points out how certain thing is incompatible with islam or the shariah. students are acquainted with the thinking pattern of the educated/literate class in today's world.
