i've attached the relevant pages from sukhn-e-raza for anybody interested insha'Allah. I found the explanation quite useful even though this particular naat is very straight forward.

  2. jazakallah khayran. no bro i do not--except for the ocassional word in a [usually] farsi dictionary! there is a 5 volume commentary on ala hazrat's poetry diwan by shaykh owaisi. i have one volume somewhere at home but hardly refer to it.
the pleasure of poetry is figuring it out for yourself--or enjoying the attempt!

    :)

    Ya Sayyidi Ala Hazrat madad!

masha'Allah that's a good effort bro. i wanted to know whether you refer to any books/commentaries when translating from the hada'iq? i have an excellent one-volume commentary which i recommend, 'Sukhn-e-Raza'. it contains sharh al-mufradaat as well as ma'aani al-ash'aar. does anybody know of any other good commentaries. i'm looking for something more detailed.

    jazakumullahu kharan kathiran
