Mawlana Mubashir Iqbal studied in Jamia Qadiria in Mardan with Mufti Fazl Subhan Qadri and studied the higher books of Darse-e-Nizami with him. Mawlana Mubashir Iqbal has chains going back to Imam Ashari. He now runs the Khairabadi Institute and teaches advanced books of Mantiq, Philosophy and Kalaam. He's the one who responded to Abdul Hakim Murad.
Maulana Shams Tamiz does seem to adhere to the Aqeedah of Ahle Sunnah. I once saw his post critiquing Ismail Dehlvi's Taqwiat ul Iman.
