wajib e iy'tiqadi and dalil zanni

    i posted this from bahar e shari'at because i believe it is connected with the recent disagreement about dalil zanni or ijma'a zanni. here, [i think] sadr al-shari'ah is saying that if something is proven with dalil zanni, it is necessary for us to have belief on it.

    What does the Shaykh mean by Wajib?

    And obligatory belief is established by unequivical Qur'an, Mutawatir, and Sahih Ahaad AHadith is what I thought

    sadr al-shari'ah mawlana amjad 'ali a'zami writes in bahar e shari'at:

    wajib e iy'tiqadi wo ke daleel zanni se us ki zaroorat saabit ho.
    a necessary belief is that whose necessity is proven from speculative evidence [daleel zanni].
