Not really the right approach, most of these Naat Khwaan have come mostly from good sunni families - it's different if there's context to it such as a Naat Khwaan being a revert or something along those lines you know?

This also needs to happen with Adam Qadri. He is an actor, not a naat khwaan and reads with the zikr in the back and even records random elders dancing.. lol.
Skip to about half way through.

AbdalQadir time to move along! will check pm's.

at 6:53 the naatkhwan tells the mufti saab "meri baat sun". one can argue that the mufti triggered him or was perhaps wrong in his fit of rage, but that still doesn't entitle the naatkhwan to not respect an older aalim's age and knowledge. sadly, this is too common a trend - naatkhwans (and rich organizers, masjid committee unkils) are arrogant celebrities who think knowledge and people of knowledge are below them.

Just randomly ran into this video, and I salute this Mufti Shahariyar Raza (apparently from bihar) for taking naatkhwans to task... (opinion based on this video only, dunno anything abt all the personalities involved).

They need muftis like this in pyara Pakistan too.
