modernist/wahabi type unfortunately brother. However, he has been attending a number of gatherings with Habib 'Ali since the danish cartoon episode, and was listening to the sayings of Imam Ghazali very carefully. May be in future he could come to our side just as other former modernist/wahabi types have. He has no traditional Islamic training. Does he even mention the word 'tasawwuf'?. He does not emphasize in his speeches what is direly needed in these ignorant times: to follow a madhab. All deviation in Egypt is because the local youth do not even know what a madhab actually means. A huge propotion of them are salafized in the cities. sad story.
