why i believe in Allah

    it was shaykh aHmad sirhindi faruqi radiyAllahu ta'ala anhu who said that i believe in Allah because He is the God of Muhammad jalla wa 'ula wa sallAllahu 'alaihi wasallam.

    i believe it was on the deathbed of imam fakhruddin razi that the shaytan asked him for proof of Allah's existence. imam gave 360 reasons but shaytan accepted none. his shaykh in tariqah then came to his assistance spiritually and said, "say to iblis, i believe in Allah without any proofs".

    it is in fatawa ridawiyyah that kufr means to cover and it comes from the language of farmers who cover the land and hide what is below. you can give these kuffar as many proofs as you want [like imam razi]; they just don't want to believe. they are insincere.
