Salaam...whether you like Pir Abdul Qadir Sahib or not i think it would have been more prudent for Muhammad Ali to have researched privately if this talk was being given and, if infact, that was going to be the title for the talk.

To place this provocative title on the net without first establishing the veracity of the "text" received is rather immature and bound to ignite passions on both sides of the divide.

To clear Muhammad Ali of any wrongdoing by saying he did try and validate the claim by asking online if anyone had heard of this talk is kinda like saying..."there's a barrel of petrol over there...i'm going to throw a lighted match in it...does anybody know if it will explode"?

We should always verify before typing...the intention of Muhammad Ali is known to Allah Ta'ala and himself...but the outcome has been yet another slanging match between brothers...

Ahh the shameful knuttersunni pops his head're a ridiculous individual who if had any shame by now would keep his fingers away from the keyboard.

At least in your post you admit that you are liars but at the same time think there's nothing wrong in it.

I can't believe you guys are still entertaining this scoundrel.

I came on to the forum by chance as I was looking for something posted a while ago but this is what is I find.

I have not been on for a while because I've been rather busy lately, and secondly because it was hijacked by these little brats who tell lies and have made what was once a decent forum into playground of dirt and filth.

What's worse is the way you guys are fooled by this compulsive liar and his trash. This thread which I came across randomly proves the point and you should be embarrassed about letting such rubbish on, and worse to be led on by it with your responses.

Here is a verse of the Glorious Quran that aptly applies to Muhammad Ali:

“O you who believe! If a fasiq comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done” Surat Hujarat, 6.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is enough sin for a man to speak of everything that he hears.”

Al-Nawawi said: Usually a person hears truth and lies, so if he speaks of everything that he hears, he is lying by telling of things that did not happen, and lying by speaking of something other than the way it happened; and he does not have to do that deliberately (in order to be regarded as telling lies).

All of you on this thread should take heed from the above teachings of al-Islam.

Temper, temper. Abu Fadl, deary, what do you think of Maulvi Abdul Qadir's comments regarding Imam Ghazali in the past? Why does it matter if he is saying what he has already said in the past?

    The irony...

Turn up to the Masjid and ask questions?

You guys are a bunch of wimps who behind computer screens with fake names. You can't make a phone call unless it's not withheld with private number and you think you come out in the public? Who are you kidding?

Your are a complete liar, and your a disgrace because the event has long been advertised as an Urs of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti (R.A.) which a Chishti buzurg helps organise at the Masjid. jhoot ki bhi koi hadd hotee he but you have no shame for yourself either.

If you have any truth in you then provide the name of the "mureed who is supplying you information but cannot be revealed."

You do the people you represent very proud as all you are proving is that you are all a bunch of liars.

May Allah's curse be upon the liars. Ameen.

I got the message from a mureed of Pir Abdul Qadir Sahib who I don't want to name at this stage.

The events topic was changed last minute because a lot of Sunnis rang Moulana Nisar Baig and the Imam Hafiz Sarwar. The brothers rang saying if he talks on this we will come down and ask questions.

The mosque committee then said that if he doesn't change the topic we won't allow the event here, because they didn't want fitnah in the mosque. This is why they changed the events topic. They didn't want this out in the open.

AbdalQadir time to move along! will check pm's.

Can you show me where Muhammad Ali has called yazid as his 'master'? What does yazid have to do with all of this? Care to elaborate?

I don't see him spreading any propaganda. Right from the first post, he made it clear that he got such a message from a murid of Mr. Abdul Qadir. He even asked if anyone else has heard of the event. I don't see how verification is propaganda.

If you and your boys knew better, why didn't you inform others of the correct lecture title & theme before waiting for the date to lapse? An outsider like me could very well say it was an internet sting op to corner people like Muhammad Ali, but I won't.

It would be an idea for Muhammad Ali to say who sent him that message.

This is actually a complete lie told by Muhammad Ali, the compulsive liar.

    May Allah curse the liars.

The event title is Hazrat Gharib Nawaz Moinudin Chishti (R.A.)

At least attempt to show a speck of honesty even if you cannot win the fair way.

This is simply evil propaganda that your master yazid was good at, and it's sad to see people on the forum be duped by this idiot.

Sayyidi Shaykh MuHammad al Ya'qoubi hafizuhuAllah ta'ala commented that anyone with rancor in his heart against Imam al Ghazali al Toosi al Khorasani raDyAllahu 'anhu, put a question mark over his being Sunni.
  13. note to the zaydis/tafdilis and imamis within the ranks of the pir's admirers: imam al-ghazali was so great that both the zaydis and imamis [WARNING PDF LINK: 14MB ] claimed him for themselves!

sadly i think i know what shah sahib's answer will be...i hope i am wrong. Imam Ghazali :ra: has been unanimously agreed upon as the Reviver (mujaddid) of his era by all Sunni Muslims without exception and, really, he was the saviour of Sunni Islam. Only someone with rancour in their heart would hate Imam Ghazali or bad-mouth him.

Those who deny him have been the Shia, the Philosophers who followed Ibn Rushd (though they still respect his knowledge) and the actual Wahabis as well as many Modernists.

I think it was Imam Suyuti who said, "If all the books of Islam were lost and the Ihya survived it would suffice!"

Not too long ago, 'Allamah Sayyid Muzaffar Husayn Shah Ridhawiy hafidhullah also delivered a short speech in defence of Imam al-Ghazali raDiyAllahu anh.

regardless of what pir sahib thinks, great muslims of 1000 years and REAL scholars (not merely men with elaborate titles in spite of shoddy half-baked knowledge) considered him hujjatu'l islam. if pir sahib wants to join them, he is doing HIMSELF a favor.

if a thousand people spit on the sun and argue that it does not have light, it will not diminish the radiance of the sun.

iHya al-ulum will continue to spread light - inShaAllah - long after everyone in our generation is gone. if people like ibn SalaH, an-nawawi, subki, zaynuddin al-iraqi, ibn Hajar and al-zabidi considered him hujjatu'l islam and held the iHya in high esteem, opinions of zayd-or-amr are of little consequence.

imam zabidi is a master of fiqh, hadith and language - he is the compiler of taj al-arus after all; and his tribute to iHya in the form of his commentary is self-explanatory. oh, just a reminder: imam zabidi is a husayni sayyid and probably will be at the level of the great grandfathers of all sayyids in our time (illa maa shaa Allah).

as an old thread went: if i were to be marooned on an island, all i would want is an ipad with the PDFs of it'Haf as-sadah (in addition to all important books). of course, it would be nice if the iPad was in a solar charger carry-case.

getting marooned doesn't look lonely anymore!

I have received this message from a mureed of Pir Abdul Qadir Sahib today:

Asslam. Is Imam Al-Ghazali really a Kharji or is he Hujja tul-Islam? A talk on the topic is to be delivered by Huzoor Mufakkir-e-Islam Pir Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilaani this Saturday 10th September after Maghrib in Ghosia Masjid Keighley BD212TA. Huzoor Mufakkir-e-Islam will also be answering questions regarding accusations on him regarding attacks he made on the Sahaba (Allah is well pleased with them). Please attend and inform others.

Has anyone else heard about this event?
