You can have your differences but what a cowardly thing to ban a person because you cannot answer his post. Is it not better to reply evidence with evidence instead of banning and calling people names (typical abu H trait when he has no answers). If gg has committed a bannable offence then what is to say of the list of sahaba and salaf that called him maloon (accursed)? Some people like to follow a discussion and in the first half of the thread there were only selected points made by users and the molana saheb in the speech, as soon as a fuller picture emerges a user gets banned. If you have the stronger evidences then don't be afraid to let people make their minds up instead of zapping user accounts. Ridiculous.
sidi AH, i think it is better to answer GG's posts than to ban him. He is an intelligent brother. It will be more beneficial for all of us if you responded to his references rather than just banning him outright. just a thought. you're the boss!
imam Hasan and imam Husayn raDiyallahu ta'ala anhuma used to pray behind him in madinah. he is considered as a trustworthy narrator, in spite of his actions. his reports have been narrated by bukhari and others. ---- only jahil pirs and their aj'hal followers - jahil pirs who cannot even cite bukhari's hadith properly act as if they are more knowledgeable than him; and their aj'hal followers who are cut-n-paste experts and scamper away at the mention of a proper discussion think they know better than bukhari. ---- marwan is not to be said mal'un. ---- gg is banned.
if you are not a supporter of marwan mal'un then that is wonderful. as for me, I dont want to tell you anything. my sheeple, think sheeple!
there are numerous ahadith about Marwan ibn hakam. hazrat abdullah ibn zubayr, hazrat ummul momineen Ayesha and many others related that marwan is accursed by the Prophet(S). sahih hadith in musnad of imam ahmed, al-mu'jam of tibrani and many others have reported la'nah upon him and his father and attested as sahih by many such as al-haythami in his majma' etc. however, i will just quote one from imam abu ya'la and Tibrani in his al-mu'jam al-kabir, both with sahih chain. abu yahya says that I was with al-Hasan and al-Husayn when Marwan was cursing the ahl al-bayt. Imam al-Hasan replied that you are cursing us whilst By God! God cursed you through the Noble Prophet(s) when you were in the loin of your father!
A scholar has answered this: http://www.sunnitalk.co.uk/the-foru...l-qadir-jillani-attack-on-sahaba-refuted#1139
I understand what everyone wrote but the reason why im confused is, this scholar is a sunni scholar. What is Ahlus Sunnah's belief about this?
Shaykh GF Haddad on Hakam, the father of the Umayyad caliph Marwan: A brother on another forum remarked that there are big groups of Shiites among Arab Sunnis. I disagree with this. It seems, that Pakistani Sunnis, by far, surpass any other Sunni population on earth on being influenced by Twelver/Ghuluu' Shiites. Even in Afghanistan, where we have a huge Shiite population, spread everywhere, in all major cities, mixed and covering entire provinces, and in addition being the progenitor of much of the Pakistani Twelver and Ismaili Shiites, the Sunni population is not as Shiite in inclination. I am quite surprised by this, and I find this very interesting.
