Did anyone listen to Hazrat Muneeb Ul Rahman on Noor Tv? He spoke very great words. He said how a real sufi should be while Pir Alauddin was sitting and lots of Molvi Saabs. He said what Sunnis should be doing to protect Sunnism instead of just doing Naats, Qawalis and long mehfils. He said doing naaras in the heavens, you should come down to the earth and look at what is happening. It was a really inspiring lecture showing that someone cares about the Ummat and has got an idea about what they should be doing.

If anyone knows where I can hear it again plz tell me.

No, I like Madni channel but I don't like that they don't given women a chance. If women don't get a chance then many will just carry on going towards the bad aqeedah side. This is just my personal opinion.

'Allamah Sayyid 'Abdul Qadir Shah Sahib Jilani - whether you agree or disagree with him - is indeed unsurpassed in 'ilm, tahqiq, etc. - a fact attested to by both friends and foes alike however this does not mean that other 'Ulama and Mashaikh-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat are lesser in anyway as expounded by Aqdas.

Point scoring will get us nowhere and will eventually blacken our hearts.

    Live and let live!

May Allah continue to preserve Amir-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, amin.

someone said about imam abu hanifa that he knew only 17 hadith. our ulama said that even if, for arguments sake, we accept this; it shows his genius that he derived tens of thousands of rulings from just 17 hadith.

if a man can transform the lives of thousands without having any knowledge; then it shows his talent and sincerity.

Sorry I know you don't like Peer Abdul Qadir. It is the truth though that when he speaks you can tell he is an alim. I just watched his speech from Pakistan about the history of the making and the role of Wahabis and Deobandis in opposing it.

I still think Wahabis and Deobandis are more dangerous than Shiites because they have killed 150 Sunni Ulemas as I heard in one lecture and there are no more mashaikh left in NWFP which I heard in another lecture.

I have not heard of a single Sunni alim killed by Shiites. So it is commonsence to know who is more dangerous. I think Sunni peers who just attack Shiites and stay quite about NWFP are just scared of their aastaanas being bombed.

Are any Indian Sunni Ulemas saying anything about how to reverse what has happened in NWFP like Hz Mawlana Akhtar Raza Khan?

It looks like a big peers war. They should all give there channels to someone like Hz Peer Ameen ul Hasanaat (not Abul Hasanaat).

Noor Tv : Peer Alauddin Siddiqi
Madani Tv : Peer Ilyas Attari
Sunni Tv : Peer Abdul Qadir
    Takbeer TV : Peer Fiyaz

I don't mean to be disrespecful but from these Peer Abdul Qadir looks like the only one who can speak English and quote proofs in his lectures. I thinl Peer Ilyas Qadri recently started doing lectures where he quotes Bukhaari but nothing more.

i didn't see the mother's day broadcast(s) so can't comment, but, i hope people do not stop viewing the other useful programmes on there, e.g. we have just tuned in and mufti jamil ahmad siddiqi is on once again.

the rawafiD have 3-4 channels broadcasting insults against the sahaba day and night. don't let any blunders make us forget this. the channel is new and we pray that one day [beginning today, inshaAllah], we can have purely shari'ah compliant programmes.

may Allah destroy the evil of the rawafiD. long live scholars like sayyid irfan mash'hadi who have opened our eyes to these khabis people.

When i said stance against rafzi i was referring to Sada-e-Takbeer featuring Mufti Abbas Rizvi. I raised the point abt Nisar Baig on another forum and yes I agree it's destined to be a flop like Noor at this rate.

In Afghanistan, Bukhara, Samarqand, Farghana, which is the area I fall back to for spiritual and religios guidance, including eastern Turkey, there is a clear cut line between a Sunni and a tafdhili shiite

In Herat, the naqshbandis will shoot you, if you say Imam 'Ali is higher in status than Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radiallahu 'anhu, because in Herat we know the shi'a run around confusing people with this.

Madani Channel is NOT a Tafdhili channel, alHamdulilALlah, and will never be, inshaAllah.

If mufaddilah are from amongst ahl atTashayyu' then why are Takbir TV broadcasting advertisements of tafdili [according to you and like-minded] 'ulama events such as the Aylesbury, UK event with Maulana Qadi 'Abdul Latif Sahib Qadiri [disciple of 'Allamah Mufakkir-e-Islam] that took place on the 13th of March 2010?

What about airing programmes by 'Allamah Professor Sayyid Riyad Husain Shah Sahib, spokesman [tarjuman], Markazi Jama'at-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, UK & Europe - founded and chaired by 'Allamah Mufakkir-e-Islam?

Let's not forget Maulana Zafarullah referring to 'Allamah Ahmad Nithar Baig Sahib Qadiri as "sunni qiyadat" in the official inauguration of the channel.

Anyhow, this channel looks like another flip-flop. More qawwalies, pir promotion, celebrating of non-Muslim events, lack of pardah and so forth.

I'm sticking to Da'wat-e-Islam's Madani TV channel; masha Allah.

I've been really impressed by Takbeer TV in it's stance against the shia propaganda was also impressed by the fact that there were no immodest women appearing. However having watched todays broadcast i was really appalled with the lack of parda. Unfortunately this is th enorm on Noor too and Ummah also had a programme where a man was hugging a woman who had anything but shar'i parda. I was shocked and it really does nothing to present Sunniyat in a positive light, especially when two of the channels are headed by mashaikh. This sort of tarsh is the norm on DM but to see "islamic" channels presenting such filth is really disheartening. I suppose the silver lining is Madani channel who really show how an Islamic channel should produce their broadcasts. I was watching the repeat of their "tasawwur-e-Madina" and they never fail to impress me-proper Sunnis.

I saw some of it......such a shame that people (everyone from producers to participants) don't take purdah issues seriously.

May Allah Ta'ala Guide us all. Aameen.

Takbeer TV made a disaster choice by airing these programmes. I guess its back to Madni Channel again, always can count on them.

There is a woman speaking there, she does not have proper hijab on her head, because some of her hair is showing.

There are other women without proper hijab.

They unfortunately are also airing live women's tilawat and recitations, so that all the men watching can look at them.

The women have lipstick on them, and makeup, and are nicely dressed.

This is the future of ANY Islamic Sub Continental TV channel for the uncles and aunties.

At the moment they are playing qawalis with haram musical instruments in them, and lots of clapping.

The qawwal is clean shaven, with no head covering, and some sufis are swinging in ecstacy at the music.
