It should be observed that Bilal did not divulge the name of the person who lied by saying he rang the organiser of the Manchester debate. When Mufti Aslam and Maulana Naveed rang the organiser he said the person had not rang him, it was untrue. This person, a fitna monger, misled Shahid with a false claim and then later lied by saying he had rang the organiser who had told him. The part I disagree with is that it should not have been posted online even though he has not divulged that individuals name. Bilal has deleted the pre-apology insults which have been re-posted on here unnecessarily. As for post-discussion posts, like this, then he has not actually published the name.
    Munnawar and AlialHanafi like this.

Don't ask another question until shaykh has dealt with the previous.

My question is: Do you agree with the statement that your student Bilal released post the meeting/apologies/amicable meal? If not, which parts do you disagree with?

And as side note, as far as I can see, Bilal himself has not deleted posts on his Facebook relating to the meeting.

There were insults from followers from BOTH sides. During the meeting I was the first to apologise for any misconduct.

In many of the posts that I have read there is only one side of the story. I do not want to divulge all information as it has been resolved with apologies on both sides.

If the issue was resolved amicably and buried why re-post the insults, and only from one side when the insults were from both sides, except to re-ignite the issue? Much of what happened within the meeting is hearsay but the main thing is all sides apologised for any misconduct within heat of the moment. Post meeting Bilal, and a few others, went out with Shahid for a meal and resolved any communications and insults from BOTH sides, private and public, so again the question is why re-post the insults that have been buried?

Isn't the fiqh of the issue that re-posting old stuff after it has been resolved is haram? Therefore I would request images of insults be deleted as the issue was resolved.

From @ramiz.noorie (who posted 6 questions so I will only take the first):

even if shahid ali is wrong and mistaken, the way you have handled this and through your students has been really a disaster. It begs a question, which fiqh allows this ?

Shaykh Asrar is now on this thread.

One question at a time. Don't ask another question until shaykh has answered the previous one. First come, first serve, starting now.

Maintain full adab for the shaykh at all times.

Keep your question brief and to the point.

    Assalamu A'alykum

This is Asrar Rashid, and I am here to clear up any points brothers have raised on the forum. I would also kindly request that you permit me to answer at my own pace due to time constraints and schedule.

I would also request that I be given permission to answer one thing at a time so things do not get muddled.

I would request aH to moderate this discussion.
