you have difficulty in understanding the issues. did muhaddith e kabir ever say that deobandis are sunnis and that people should follow them? did muhaddith e kabir ever stop his murids (or any other sunnis) from criticising devbandis? has any of his khulafa/students become a devbandi, yet muhaddith e kabir continues to support him and never utter a word against him (to the best of my knowledge, none of his khulafa has reneged; Allah ta'ala knows best). yaqubi sahib actively supports hamza hanson and dissuades his own murids (i am told) from criticising hamza. hamza is a perennialist in spite of his denials; he invites perennialists like nasr for his functions - which, incidentally are "islamic convocations" and writes forewords to such books, remains on the board of one of the prominent perennialist book-publishers. actually, that is one of the problems. there are others too and you can dig the forum. secondly, 'by association' also works the other way; so don't give me the 'he is a sayyid, so he has a carte blanche' (hint: sayyid gets respect 'by association').
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Salaam Abu Hasan, so would you apply the same formula with such zeal for some like.....lets say Muhadithi Kabeer, who frequently labels sunni's as ' Sulah Kulli' and 'Gumrahi' for sharing the stage with political leaders, but yet is not partial to cossying with Deobandi's as part of "kowmi Islamic conferences" circa 2009, yet negated to tell the very same people that they had deviated from the majority? [before anyone get upset i can provide the evidence of this i.e. risalah and picture of the event]. Yet you freely attack shaykh yaqoubi "by association" and label him because of the actions of Hamza Yusef Hanson........lots of assumptions!!!! people seem to have difficulty in the notion that, "In Islam there is difference of opinion" and everyone has the personal right of choice [la iqraha fid deen]
nonsense. being polite in speech (when addressing thanawi, gangohi et al) does not mean 'level of respect'. --- what YOU know. what we now know is that he doesn't say anything about hamza yusuf who is a perennialist thug, who invites perennialist kafir seyyed hossein nasr to his zaytuna (and various other occasions where he is obsequious to nasr) and nasr is originally a rafidi from iran and now a leading figure of perennialism and an admirer of schuon. so learn about him; and ask if you don't know.
let us try again: does acquiring british citizenship makes it mandatory to abandon the religion of your forefathers and relegate 'theology' to classrooms? is it obligatory to relinquish sunni-islamic creed after obtaining a british passport?
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Salaam brothers, thank you for some informative stuff, but i think we have all gone of piste a little can we return back the original title of the thread namely "Shaykh yaqoubi on al Hadret": Even Aala hadret alayhi rehma wardah kept his decorum and a level of respect when addressing the elders of the deobaniyyah sect. Shaykh Yaqoubi is a sayyed and what I know of him he is a sunni Alim, so we should show some level of respect and decorum towards him even if we disagree with his words or action on a particular matter or issue.
why burn it? and how do you know that i am attracted to it? how is acquiring/retaining a british passport contradictory to being an upright muslim?
There is No need to get upset… you also need to Burn the Document which ATTRACTS YOU which YOU have signed and photographed, which YOU keep in your left pocket next to your Heart called: The British Passport! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_passport
indeed, that verse is of utmost importance. but that is not absolute in its Hukm; it does not mean that merely obtaining a degree or attaining fame as a scholar makes you untouchable and grants you scholarly-immunity. rather, you should be pondering on the tafsir of these verses: surah jumu'ah, 62:5 surah a'araf, 7:175
Say: ‘The evil, the unlawful, and the good, the lawful, are not equal, even though the abundance of the evil attract you.’ So fear God, in avoiding it, O people of pith, so that you might prosper, triumph. [Al Maidah verse 100] In my humble opinion the following verse is of importance: قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلأَلْبَابِ (Say) to them, O Muhammad: (Are those who know) Allah's divine Oneness and Allah's commands and prohibitions, i.e. Abu Bakr and his fellow believers (equal) in reward and acts of obedience (with those who know not) Allah's divine Oneness or Allah's commands and prohibitions, i.e. Abu Jahl and his host? (But only men of understanding) only those possessed of intellect among people (will pay heed) will take admonition from the similitudes of the Qur'an [Tanwîr al-Miqbâs]
If our learned Sunni/Sufi brothers & sisters keep Insulting/Bashing each others Sunni/Sufi Scholars and Sayyids… What kind of mentality do you think our uneducated young generation is going to end up with? Most of our young generation is now becoming a Godless society, which does not even know how to perform Wudu properly, you think they care what members of this Forum are saying regarding these Sunni/Sufi scholars? Today’s young generation do not know or what or how to respect even their own Parents. They could not care less because today, they only thing they care about is quote: “It’s My Life” and we expect them to show respect to our Shaykhs and Sayyids? You are already aware that today’s young generation is well versed in short “TEXT MESSAGING” they couldn’t care less of these (boring) 10/50 page PDF’s --- Some of the main Scholars that were admired and are still influenced by the Mainly British Pakistani & Indian Muslim communities in UK: Pir Al-Sayyid Hamid Ali Shah Gujrati(ra) Pir Al-Sayyid Naseer ud din Naseer(ra) Pir Syed Shabbir Hussain Shah Naqvi Al Hussani (ra) Who taught the Pakistani Muslims of Britain: The Mawlid!...etc ---- This is quite interesting: Shaykh Sayyid Irfan Shah Mashadi Moosvi Shaykh Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilani Shaykh Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Shaykh Pir Mohammad Alauddin Siddiqui Shaykh Pir Sultan Fiaz-ul-Hassan Their “Punk Mureeds” which caused disunity amongst them for example : “Haq char/ sab Yaar” and other petty differences/opinions … caused the UK Sunni/Sufi communities to split --- Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad Madani Miya Ashrafi al Jilani Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad Hashmi Miya al Ashrafi al Jilani Shaykh Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri --- Following Sunni/Sufi Scholars and Sayyids are Still admired and influenced by the majority young sunni/sufi Pakistani/Indian Muslims in UK regardless of what the minority opinion holds against them? Note: As convert Muslims they have a different approach from the main stream “Beralvi” scholars which live in totally different world! --- Our young Sunni Muslims as a whole in the UK are saying to the minority that: What they care about is what’s developing around them… Example: Terrorism/Extremism/Radicalising - Wahhabi/Salafi-ISIS…etc Otherwise they could not care less! With the ISIS - wahhabi/salafi extremism, it is very difficult to have a dialogue with the Christians, try explaining to a white teen age or a young Christian the difference between us and them (wahhabi/salafi)? I asked my white colleague at work about Muslims and Christians in the UK and with what’s developing around the rest of the world, his answer was : there is going to be a “Civil War” in UK and his afraid! And for those “Muslim Punks” who keep getting up at night, are you ready for a Civil War in the UK?
ibn Hassan i am still waiting for your response to my post down below .. I think you are just splurging your feelings all over the place, I can't comprehend you.
christians respond to geoffrey, mark and tim's 'a common word' http://www.brandeis.edu/crown/publications/cp/CP3.pdf geoff should be ashamed of himself... his film that he spent a few £s on has still not been released tim wants to probably see the trinity in a monotheistic light because mark says that truth is not limited to Islam. They need to keep their theology in the classroom like piper is telling them to
the verse of mubahalah tells us that the ahl e bayt came out to challenge christians. they were the REAL sayyids. raDiyallahu `anhum - and may Allah ta'ala grant us dust from their footsteps. --- those with sayyid-names like jifri are cosy with christians, and call their leaders as "his holiness" so also nazim qubrusi - instead of challenging pope rat for a mubahalah - asks him to pray for him. nice sayyid this. those hashemite kingdom sayyids - king and cousin - act as chauffeurs and pages for popes; and their claim to glory is that they have served three popes. ===== the sayyids we follow did not spare yazid and co. even when they claimed to be muwaHHids; but you tell us about sayyids who fawn over kuffar.
I just gave him a sip, so that he could taste his own medicine…which he found quite bitter to swallow… Stop with the edit… period! Do not Insult Sunni/Sufi scholars especially Sayyids- People of The House! Unite all Sunni/Sufi Scholars and ignore or even better banish all “Punk” Mureeds who are the main cause of their disunity, which is destabilising the next generations… If you haven’t yet realised … then its time you woke up from your hibernation, most of our Imams/Molvis (Educational curriculum ) are not in TUNE with today’s young generation, who happen to live on planet Pandora, who speak a totally different language/customs, which use i pods, Twitter/Facebook and “Call of Duty” before going to sleep! Most important is the Education of their Mothers… And Produce more Imams/scholars such as these young men: --- Their enemy said: Ayman al-Zwahiri a 'salafi jihadi' : […] “ Also, the active mujahedeen ulema - even if there may be some heresy or fault in them that is not blasphemous - we must find a means to include them and to benefit from their energy. You know well -what I am mentioning to you- that many of the most learned ulema of Islam such as Izz Bin Abdul Salam, al-Nawawi, and Ibn Hajar - may God have mercy on them - were Ashari. And many of the most eminent jihadists, whom the Umma resolved unanimously to praise such as Nur al-Din Bin Zanki and Salahal-Din al-Ayyubi - were Ashari. The mujahedeen sultans who came after them - who didn't reach their level - whom the ulema and the historians lauded such as Sayf al-Din Qatz, Rukn al-Din Baybars, al-Nasir Muhammad Bin-Qallawun, and Muhammad al-Fatih, were Ashari or Matridi. They fell into errors, sins, and heresies. And the stances of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiya regarding al-Nasir Muhammad Bin Qallawun and his extolling of him and his inciting him to jihad - despite the prosecutions and prison which befell the sheikh in his time - are well known. If you take into account the fact that most of the Umma's ulema are Ashari or Matridi, and if you take into consideration as well the fact that the issue of correcting the mistakes of ideology is an issue that will require generations of the call to Islam and modifying the educational curricula,…] ” [End of quote]
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم part 2: Dignity should be shown to the lineage and kinship of the Beloved Prophet’s ﷺ ذَلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لاَّ أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْراً إِلاَّ ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ فِي ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْناً إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ (This) bounty (it is which Allah announceth unto His bondmen) in the life of the world (who believe) in Muhammad and the Qur'an (and do good works) between them and their Lord. (Say) O Muhammad, to your Companions; and it is said: to the people of Mecca: (I ask of you no fee) no payment (therefore, save loving kindness among kinsfolk) except that you treat kindly my kinsfolk after me; it is also said this means: except that you draw closer to Allah through the profession of Allah's divine Oneness, (according to Shaykhi kaamal Hasan al-Basri radi allahu ta’ala anho); and according to al-Farra' this means: draw closer to Allah by means of repentance. (And whoso scoreth a good deed we add unto its good for him) nine times. (Lo! Allah is Forgiving) He forgives the one who repents, (Responsive) He is thankful for very little and rewards for it abundantly) [Tanvir ul Miqbas] According to Sayyidina Abdullah ibne Abbaas radi allahu ta’ala anho, he states that some people asked the Blessed Prophet ﷺ regarding the meaning of ” kinsfolk” (ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ), in reply the Blessed Prophet ﷺ mentioned the names of Sayyidina Maula’I Kainaat, Sayyidah Khatooni Janat and Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain mau SAllah bless all of them. Many Commentators (mufasiroon) have indicated from this ayat that it implies loving al the descendents of the Blessed Prophet ﷺ and from this and on the basis of sahih hadeeth that all the descendents of Sayyidah Fatimah salamauna alayha are protected from kufr (And stay in your houses) and do not go out and display gravity. (Bedizen not yourselves with the bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance) and do not adorn yourselves with the adornment of the disbelievers in their thin, colourful clothes. (Be regular in prayer) perform the five daily prayers, (and pay the poor-due) from your wealth, (and obey Allah and His messenger) in that which is customary. (Allah's wish) in this (is but to remove uncleanness) sin (far from you, O Folk of the Household) of the Prophet, (and cleanse you) from sins (with a thorough cleansing. In Fatawa Chistiyyah, Mujjadad deeno Millat Fatahi Qadiani Pir Sayyed Meher Ali Shah Gilaani Chisli alayhi rehma wa ridhwan states regarding the above: that Sayyidah Khatooni Janat, Maula’I Kainaat, their 2 sons (Iman Hasan and Hussain) as well as the entire Banu fatimah are covered with good tidings for all time the real purification mentioned in this verse will not be truly witness until yaumil qiyamah when the entire Banu Fatimah will be raised in a pure and pardoned state In Tarikhi Islamiayyah it is recorded that Sayyidina Umer radi allahu bta’ala anho when fixing subsistence allowances for families he used to allocate higher amounts for Banu hashim (Sayyidina Abbas and Maula’I Kainaate may Allah Bless them etc…) and the highest for Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain. When objections were made by his son, Sayyidina Umer radi allahu bta’ala anho replied neither I , your mother nor your grandfather can claim equality with the relatives of Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain (may allah bless them all). you stated, "tell me, do you also show this same kind of respect to khomeini, syed ahmed khan (aligarh), or syed abu'l a3la maududi?" Brother i suggest you read and ponder over the following hadeeth: قال البخاري في الأدب المفرد 760 - حدثنا علي بن عبد الله قال حدثنا معاذ بن هشام قال حدثني أبي عن قتادة عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن أبيه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : لا تقولوا للمنافق سيد فإنه إن يك سيدكم فقد أسخطتم ربكم عز و جل. may Allah azza wa jal forgive us for our short commings (P.S Ya Sayyed Ahmed Owaisi (and any other sayyed here) please remember me in your du'aas, let not me be alone with my ego for 1 second, taubah ya rabbi, tauba ya rabbi, tauba ya rabbi)
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Here is my own opinions and research on the matter regarding ahle bayt and their adab Sayyed (sardar) and the ahle bayt (The Beloved Prophet's ﷺ house hold). When we look at the meaning of ahle bayt and who can be rightfull called sayyed as in relation to those descend from the house hold of the Prophet ﷺ we learn from our salaf that there are 3 types: (1) Ahle bayti walaadet: in this group is included the Prophet ﷺ house hold) blessed parents, Abdul Mutalib and his children, Hashim and his children may Allah bless them (2) Ahle bayti muskun (sukun) such as the azwaaji mutaharah (3) Ahle bayti awlaad, which is the lineage from Sayyedah Fatimah radi allahu ta'ala anha's, 2 blessed children may Allah bless them all. An important point of fiqh here is that zakaat cannot be given to those of banu Hashim this includes fatimi sayyeds or those from the other wives of Hadret Maula Ali (radi allahu ta ala anho) viz awaan or alawi (alvi) Who did the Prophet ﷺ first call sayyed? It is documented in the tafasir of our salaf from the aqwaal of the taba’3een that one of the meanins of Ya Sin is Ya Sayyedu, and it is documented in the hadeeth shareef that the blessed Prophet (sallahu alayhi was sallam) said: Ana waladi Aadam wa la fakhr (may kull bani adam ka sardar hown) So the Prophetﷺ first called himself sayyed! Who did the Prophet ﷺ called sayyed next after himself? After himself (sallahu alayhi was sallam) the next person to be refeered to as sayyed was non other then our mother Sayyeda fatimatuz Zahrah radi allahu ta ala anha (fatimah saari awratown kee sardar hayn) sayyidatu nisaa’i ahlal janah (sayyidatu nisaa’I haathil ummah) and she is also referred to as sayyidah kainaat and the 3rd to be referred to as sayyed is non other then imam Hassan and Imam Hussain may Allah sanctify their secret. The Prophet ﷺ referring to Imam Hassan said, innabli haatha sayyedon (this son of mine is sayyed) and also, the Prophetﷺ (sallahu alayhi was sallam) said, "Al Hasan wal Hussain sayyid shabaabi ahlil janah (Hasan and Hussain are the Princes of Paradise) Both nisbah and nasb are important, through our nisbah it makes the difference between attaining paradise or hell fire, Mevlana jallauddin Rumi said, sohbet saleh tara saleh kande (faqat kafayah da'iman alHamdolillah) and regarding to the point of nisbah يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوباً وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوۤاْ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عَندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ O mankind! We have indeed created you from a male and a female, [from] Adam and Eve, and made you nations (shu‘ūb is the plural of sha‘b, which is the broadest category of lineage) and tribes (qabā’il, which are smaller than nations, and are followed by ‘amā’ir, ‘tribal districts’, then butūn, ‘tribal sub-districts’, then afkhādh, ‘sub-tribes’, and finally fasā’il, ‘clans’; for example Khuzayma is the sha‘b, while Kināna is the qabīla, Quraysh is the ‘imāra, Qusayy is the batn, Hāshim is the fakhdh, and ‘Abbās is the fasīla) that you may come to know one another (ta‘ārafū: one of the two tā’ letters [of tata‘ārafū] has been omitted), that you may acquire knowledge of [the customs of] one another and not to boast to one another of [whose is the more] noble lineage, for pride lies only in [the extent to which you have] fear of God. Truly the noblest of you in the sight of God is the most God-fearing among you. Truly God is Knower, of you, Aware, of your inner thoughts. On yaumil qiyamah everyone will be called by his mother not his father like the Jews, hence issa bvin maryam, Hasan bin fatimah, Hussain bin fatimah etc (may allah bless them all). Why nasab and lineage is important? In the book “Anwaar i-Muhammadiyya” Imam Allamah Yusuf ibn Isma’il Nabhabani (may Allah have mercy on him), narrated the following hadith from Wathila ibn al-Aska, “The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “”Allah chose Kanana from the sons of Isma’il, and Quraysh from Kanana, and from Quraysh the sons of Hashim, and finally chose me from the sons of Hashim.” [Urdu edition, p.22-29] So here we see and there are many other hadeeth that show the importance place upon ones lineage by our Beloved Prophet ﷺ him and the tradition of the Arabs especially the Quraysh. It is well established amongst sunni sources that Nabi kareem ﷺ has the following offspring, which are all counted within ahle bayti walaadat (awlaad), (Note: Sayyidina Maula’I kain’at radi allahu talala anho is not part of ahle bayti awlaad, because he is sayyed already ahle bayt, being part of ahle bayti nasab) Lineage from the Noble Prophet ﷺ (ahle bayti walaadat) According to ahle sunnah wal jamaat all the children of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ are sayyed and from the Ahle bayt (Ahle bayti awlaad) namely Ruqayyah bint Muhammad Umm Kulthum bint Muhammad, Zainab bint Muhammad, Fatimah Zahra) – and two sons – (Abd-Allah ibn Muhammad and Qasim ibn Muhammad) – who both died in childhood (may Allah blessed them all). In with regards the matter of nobility of ancestory (lineage) in relation to the Beloved Prophet ﷺ no one can equal (the lineage through) Sayyidina Imam Hasan and imam Hussain radi allahuta’ala anhom both of whom were the sons of Sayyidah Fatimatuz Zahra, whom the Blessed Prophet ﷺ referred to as: فاطمة بضعة مني وهي نور عيني Fatimah (radi allahu ta’ala anha) is a part of me, and the light of my eyes, And Sayyidina Maula’I kain’at radi allahu talala anho. The Beloved Prophet ﷺ himself stated on many occasions that Sayyidina Imam Hasan and imam Hussain radi allahuta’ala anhom were his own sons and with reference to “أَبْنَآءَنَا” in Surah al Imran verse 61: فَمَنْ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْاْ نَدْعُ أَبْنَآءَنَا وَأَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وأَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَل لَّعْنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَاذِبِينَ And whoever, from among the Christians, disputes with you concerning him, after the knowledge, of his affair, that has come to you, say, to them: ‘Come! Let us call our sons and your sons, our wives and your wives, our selves and your selves, and gather them together, then let us humbly pray and invoke God’s curse upon those who lie’, by saying: ‘Lord, curse the one that tells lies concerning the affair of Jesus’. The Prophet (s) had called upon the Najrān delegation to do this when they disputed with him about Jesus. They said, ‘Let us think about it and we will come back to you’. The judicious one among them said, ‘You know that he is a prophet, and that every people that has ever challenged a prophet to a mutual imprecation has been destroyed’. They left him and departed. When they went to see the Prophet (s), who had set out with al-Hasan, al-Husayn, Fātima and ‘Alī, he said to them [the Najrān delegation], ‘When I supplicate, you say ‘Amen’; but they refrained from this mutual imprecation and made peace with the Prophet on the condition that they pay the jizya, as reported by Abū Nu‘aym. According to Ibn ‘Abbās [the Prophet] said, ‘Had they set out and performed the mutual cursing, they would have gone home and found neither possessions nor family’. It is also reported that had they set out with this intention, they would have been consumed by fire. (Tafasir Jalaalayn) Is interpreted in relation to the Noble Prophet’s ﷺ own actions is referring to Sayyidina Imam Hasan and imam Hussain radi allahuta’ala anhom. This is the opinion and position of many ahle sunnah shuyukh such as Allama Samhudi Shaafi, Shaykh Muhammed bin Ali Saban Masri, Shah Abdul Haq al al farooqi Muhadith Dehlvi and in recent time Mujjadad deeno Millat Fatahi Qadiani Pir Sayyed Meher Ali Shah Gilaani Chisli (may allah bless them all) Importance of ones lineage and nobility In islam throughout the centuries there has been an adherence to equivalence and comparability of lineage (kufw) in relation to marriage. This is given credence in relation to Hadret Muaa and hadret Khidr (upon whim be peace) re dilapidated wall at the foot of ehich was a treasure (inheritance) buried there by an ancestor, who was pious sao Sayyidina Khidr alayhi salaam rebuilt the wall. Regarding this story (surah 52:21), our master and great shaykh Shaykhul Quran Imam ul Mufasireen Sayyidina Mahmood Shah Baghdadi Mahroof Allama Allusi alahi rehma wa ridhwaan states in his commentary (Tafasir RuHul Ma3anii) has interpreted the ayat on the basis of Sayyidina Abdullah ibne Abbaas radi allahu ta’ala anho as to mean “that Allah azza wa jal will keep the offspring of a believer in the same grade of paradise as himself in order that he could cool his eyes by seeing them in his company". Note it is recorded that one time Mujjadad deeno Millat Fatahi Qadiani Pir Sayyed Meher Ali Shah Gilaani Chisli alayhi rehma wa ridhwan was in multan and a person asked him regarding the qur’anic evidence for respecting a Sayyed (Fatimyyah sayyed), so he invited the questioner to explain the meaning of surah Az Zukhruf verse 81: قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ ٱلْعَابِدِينَ Say: ‘If the Compassionate One had a son, hypothetically [speaking], I would have been first among the worshippers, of that son; but it is established that He, exalted be He, does not have a child and thus there can be no worshipping of such [a child] (Tafasir Jalaalayn) In other words Allah;s son (if he had one astagfirollah) would have been worshipped ONLY because of his LINEAGE even if did not possess any of the divinely attributes [Mehr-i-Munir, Dr Muhammed Fadhil Khan’s version p5]
